The talented Canadian vocalist Tara Laine recorded the funky gem “You Made Me Believe” with members of the band Change, an Italian- American post-disco group that was heavily influenced by Chic. Recorded in 1985 for the legendary Street Level label, featured here is the original 12” version complete with bonus instrumental. This session was produced by in-demand session drummer Leslie Ming, whose fine work can be heard on the records of Kashif, Melba Moore, B.T. Express and many others.
