Walking On Mars EP
Berlinâs Tal Fussman returns to Rekids with the âWalking on Marsâ EP. It follows the Survival Tactics bossâ recent album on Binhâs Time Passages, as well as his âDeïŹnitionâ (2024) and âI Feelâ (2025) EPs on Rekids, with Fussmanâs fresh spin on classic House and Techno winning support from the likes of Raresh, Cromby, DVS1, Saoirse, Carista, Honey Dijon, and many more.
The âWalking on Marsâ EP opens with âCrystallizedâ, a cavernous cut exclusive to 12â, where Tal Fussman pares back his signature percussive style in favour of a rolling groove set against a deep, atmospheric backdrop. âWhoâs Who?â follows, its wild sequences and skewed drumlines colliding in restless motion. The title track, âWalking on Marsâ, drives forward on hard-hitting drums that gradually unfold into a soulful house melody, setting the stage for âKnowledge < Machineâ, a razor-sharp electro ïŹnale of snaking synths and an apt robotic vocal. Fussmanâs versatility shines throughout, with the EP already winning support from Antal, Rene Wise, Marcel Dettmann, and Fred P. Founded in 2006, Radio Slaveâs Rekids has since launched the Techno-focused Rekids Special Projects in 2017 and its latest sublabel, REKâD, in 2024. With Matt Edwards as the sole A&R, Rekids has been instrumental in developing emerging artists and remains a trusted home for House and adjacent sounds, recently featuring names such as Hilit Kolet, Frankey and Sandrino, Mathias Kaden, Huxley, and many more.
