Drummer Amir Bresler's album Tide and Time was created spontaneously with pianist Nitai Hershkovits (ECM) and Rejoicer (Stones Throw). Together, they carved out the compositions to produce a unique album.
"I felt like making something special in a classic trio format," Amir says. "Then Nitai brought textures and colours that he likes." The album pays tribute to the minimalism of Ahmad Jamal and Galt MacDermot's instrumentals.
