DownJazz presents: Mark Adams, This is Neo-Soul. 15 master musicians from the bands, Roy Ayers, Chic, Lonnie Liston Smith and Chaka Khan recorded a live album over 3 years, that is a testament to the "Neo-Soul-Jazz” sound of Harlem, New York City 1970. 10 Tracks are featured including tribute versions of "Sweet Tears" and 'Vibrations' along with a remake of "Expansions", an oh-so timely classic by 'Lonnie Liston Smith and the Cosmic Echoes".

Many new funk fueled compositions perfectly align with the aforementioned iconic songs, resulting in an expertly crafted album that is brimming with stylish riffs, rolling bass, big brass stabs & an abundance of musical flair.
