This quintet is widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential jazz groups in history, pushing the boundaries of post-bop into free, more experimental territory. The box set gathers all the studio sessions from 1965 to 1968 that produced the albums: E.S.P. (1965), Miles Smiles (1967), Sorcerer (1967), Nefertiti (1968), Miles in the Sky (1968), and Filles de Kilimanjaro (1968).
