From songs like "basking sharks" to "lighthouses," "lichen" to vanishing islands, and "curlews" to tree planting, Swilkie explores a wide range of themes with a deep connection to the sea. The album was recorded in a boathouse on the West Coast of Scotland, allowing the natural sounds of the environment to subtly weave through the music.
