The band members include Bill Payne on keys/vocals, Scott Sharrard on guitar/vocals, Tony Leone on drums/vocals, Fred Tackett on guitar, Kenny Gradney on bass, and Sam Clayton on percussion/vocals.
It's their first album of new material in over 13 years, with songs written by Payne, Tackett, Sharrard, and Leone. The album was produced by the multi-Grammy Award winner, Vance Powell (known for his work with Phish, Chris Stapleton, Jack White) and Bill Payne.
The song "Bluegrass Pines" features special guests Molly Tuttle, Larry Campbell, and Teresa Williams. It was written by Payne and the Grateful Dead lyricist, Robert Hunter. The title track also features Larkin Poe on guest vocals.
