Snake / Chillin' Out (Spring Revisited Remixes)

Continuing the hugely exciting Spring Revisited series in collaboration with Ace Records, Acid Jazz presents a new 12” release – Fatback Band: ‘Snake (Joaquin ‘Joe’ Claussell’s Sacred Rhythm Version)’ and ‘Chillin’ Out (Kon’s Cool Out Remix)’.

Originally featured on their 1978 album Fired Up ’n Kickin’, Fatback Band’s ‘Snake’ has long been a favourite among soul-funk heads. Now, it’s in the hands of one of Brooklyn’s finest – Joaquin ‘Joe’ Claussell – who gives it the full treatment.

It’s backed with Kon’s ‘Cool Out Remix’ of ‘Chillin’ Out’, which was met with a great response when released as a digital single earlier this year, and rightly sees a side of wax.
