Mad rare private press LP of guitar-fronted melodic 1975 music with a "rural rock" feel from this obscure four-piece band from Missouri. Skyeros have garnered cult fame among Prog fans -- and they also made an album coveted more widely by all collectors of underground American music, regardless of genre. The prog touches have been overstated quite a bit, despite the more than fourteen minute suite on side two. That's more than fine, though. Plenty of fluid, snaky, chiming guitar lines as well as hot lead riffage, grooving organ, plus other weird keyboards, and a really tight overall sound that makes it an excellent listen. The guitar reminds me at times of Ashbury, which is high praise for those who know that legendary band.
