Shapeshifter
Shapeshifter is a journey to the deeper reaches of the human experience. It's a dive into a deeper conciousness of being while being aware of the constantly shifting reality that we're constantly experiencing. It deals with the struggles of being sentient; finding one's purpose, finding love, struggling with interpersonal relationships, isolation and inner peace.
The name "Shapeshifter" is also self-referential. As a band, Triptides is constantly following the muse, shifting and growing into new forms of musical matter. While this album is electrified with various vintage keyboards and dripping in analog synths, the band has never stayed in one shape too long before shifting once again.
