Burbank, California seemed like an unusual spawning ground for such a sounding band, but makes sense considering their earlier formation as AOR band White Sister. When White Sister's keyboardist departed, Dennis Churchill-Dries (vocals/bass), Rick Chadock (guitar), and Rich Wright (drums) recruited piano and B3 Hammond player Michael Lord and renamed themselves Tattoo Rodeo.
