A potent mix of schrammelig post-punk and dream-pop, Jetstream Pony have released two LPs, a mini-album and several sold-out singles since their 2017 debut.
Stalwarts of the current indie scene, the band features an array of well-known faces: Beth Arzy (The Luxembourg Signal/Trembling Blue Stars) on vocals and percussion, Shaun Charman (The Wedding Present/The Popguns) on guitar and vocals, Kerry Boettcher on bass and Tom Levesley on drums, assisted by Mark Matthews (The Dentists/Treasures of Mexico) on guitar.
They released their highly acclaimed second album Bowerbirds and Blue Things in March 2025 on Spinout Nuggets in the UK and Shelflife Records in North America â swiftly followed by a visit to the BBC studios in Salford for this four-track session for Marc Riley and Gideon Coeâs show now lovingly released as part of the ongoing series of BBC sessions on Precious Recordings of London.
The session includes three songs from their latest LP, including the lead single âBubblegum Nothingnessâ, the session also featured a return to their earliest days with âHad Enoughâ, which dates back to Jetstream Ponyâs very first single in 2017.
Released on limited-edition tenâinch vinyl with sleeve notes from Shaun Charman and unseen images plus download.
