Reality Star

Born out of Brooklyn's punk chaos, Surbort is redefining what it means to be 'Cool' - trading apathy for authenticity and chaos for connection. Channeling the feral energy of the 80s punk underground, their feedback laced anthems scream love, inclusivity and defiance in a digital age gone numb. Their cult following stretches from Coachella pits to international tours alongside Idles, Wolf Alice, Viagra Boys and Fat White Family earning praise from W Magazine ('The last (only) New York punk band), The Guardian ('The spirit o Bikini Kill, Patti Smith and X') and Amplify Magazine (A stick of dynamite that self ignites'). Discovered by Julian Casablancas (Cult Records), then signed under Linda Perry's Soundcloud partnership and now onto Todo Records for their most exciting album to date. Fronted by the electrifying Dani Miller, a face of Gucci Beauty and voice of a  generation allergic to bullshit, Surfbort blur art, fashion and rebellion. From starring in Gucci campaigns to collabs with Fred Armisen, Tony Hawk and Lizzy Armanto, they prove that Punk is still alive and its beating loud. The new album 'Reality Star' channels the spirit of punk through every possible lens, from the frenetic energy of Black Flag and Dead Kennedys to the playful eccentricity of the  B-52s and the grungy vulnerability of Nirvana. It oozes fun and listeners are left with a feeling of youthful resilience.
