The eponymously titled first endeavour on Klang Tone presents 10 works produced âspontaneously as a collection of slightly sombre mood pieces punctuated by more upbeat wonky bedsit electronicaâ. The artistâs own description gives a good handle of what to expect; lo-fi, retro-futurist whimsy wrapped up in vintage-aping collaged artwork set to stimulate the nostalgia nodule of listeners of a certain age, able to recall early episodes of Tomorrowâs World and very used to the must of thrift shops.
