Radio Flyer EP
Dylan Taylor’s journey in music is one of defiance, resilience, and an unrelenting commitment to authenticity. Hailing from Atlanta and shaped in the heart of Nashville, Dylan found her unique sound at the crossroads of country, Americana, blues, and alt-rock. Her early exposure to the world of songwriting came from her father, Karl Braun, and the late Harley Allen, both singer-songwriters. Dylan’s music career began at a young age but 2021 proved to be a turning point. Following the disorienting months of the pandemic, she signed with Bluewater Music, a milestone that enabled her to truly make her mark on the music world and shape her career in earnest.
Her debut EP with Bluewater Music, "Damn My Heart", was released in 2024, marking a breakthrough in her journey. With the help of iconic producer Robert S. Field (Steve Earle, Allison Moorer), Dylan's songs capture her unapologetic honesty and the raw emotional depth that defines her music. The title track, a driving country-rock anthem, was praised by critics at Music Row for its boldness and vulnerability — hallmarks of a writer who isn’t afraid to dig deep. Since then, she’s been on the road, touring across the US and cementing herself as an artist with a voice that demands attention.
Collaborating with some of the best in the business for her second EP, Radio Flyer, Dylan worked with RS Field once again and enlisted the legendary producer Frank Liddell (Miranda Lambert, Lee Ann Womack) on “Signs of Life” and “Dancing In The Ashes”. With instrumentalists like Kenny Vaughan (Marty Stuart, Lana Del Rey), Joe Pisapia (Ben Folds, Guster), and Jason Smay (JD McPherson), Dylan continues to refine and evolve her sound.Â
She’s a talent to watch, not just for the songs she’s already released but for the ones she’s still to share.
Dylan has evolved into one of the most exciting songwriters in the modern age, embracing the Americana, Country and Rock genres and making them uniquely her own. With her relentless work ethic, unflinching honesty, and commitment to staying true to her roots, Dylan Taylor is ready to take the next big step — and the best is yet to come.
