Discus Music is delighted to make available this fourth volume of solo improvised piano music from Stephen Grew. In common the other three, this music is "a labyrinth packed with jewels" that I hope you'll wish to investigate and embrace. It continues to fascinate how Stephen manages to bring a different character and nuance to each of the volumes in this ongoing series. An improvisor whose name should be quoted alongside luminaries such as Alexander Hawkins, Alex Schlippenbach or Keith Tippett in the pantheon of keyboard improvisers.
