Entitled Peace on Earth, this eight song collection will be available on vinyl (with four digital only bonus tracks included) and was inspired by the current state of the world.
Said Collette: "A lot of love, blood, sweat, tears, and snow has gone into this album. There's a lot of devastation in the world right now. This whole project was to remember that Christmas is hard for people on many levels, We, in the western world, could all be in a much worse situation! Â which is why we should always be positive and grateful for whatever we have"Â
As a result, profits from the album will be donated to War Child, a charity that brilliantly works to help vulnerable children in conflict and war torn countries and has a rich history with the music industry.
Beyond Collette’s stand-out vocals, backed by some of the finest jazz and classical musicians working in the UK today, Peace on Earth also features riveting spoken word pieces from acclaimed actors Ray Winstone, Maxine Peake, James Nesbitt, Laura Whitmore and Fra Fee, each reciting a poem written by Collette.
