Hiromi, an internationally celebrated pianist, has returned with her new album Out There. This album is a vivid display of electrifying fusion jazz and features Hiromi’s band, Sonicwonder, which includes musicians previously featured on the 2024 release Sonicwonderland.
Hiromi’s band, Sonicwonder, was formed in early 2023 leading up to the release of the group’s first album together. The band consists of Hiromi on piano and keyboards, Hadrien Feraud on bass, Gene Coye on drums, and Adam O’Farrill on trumpet with pedals. Hiromi strategically selected each musician in the group, choosing artists with a specific sound in mind who could paint the picture of her compositions.
Since forming, Hiromi’s Sonicwonder has been playing and touring together, honing their craft and musical chemistry. With their second album as a group, Out There, the band reaches a new level of musical cohesion and chemistry, showcasing their growth and evolution as a band.
