What my longtime friend „“Sir““ Oliver Mally delivered with this album was just breathtaking. An intimate yet intense outing as an impressive singer/songwriter. Songs like „“Butterfly Girl““, „“Love Is A Devil““ or „“Ain’t No Bad Boy (But I’ve Got The Bad Boys Blues)““ are since then signature tunes of the genre. The only thing that bothered me was that „“Ol’Dogs, Nu Yard““ wasn’t released on vinyl. So when the „“Sir““ approached me with the intention to finally make this outstanding record available on vinyl I didn’t hesitate a second.
