Nate Heller (A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood, Diary of a Teenage Girl, Can You Ever Forgive Me?) has crafted a beautiful, bouncy and haunted score for the complicated life of a stay at home mother. Choruses and strings swell in periods of bliss, and droning synths drown the air in periods of darkness - this dichotomy is present in the story of a woman who's evolving while feeling stuck at the same time.
Nightbitch stars Academy Award nominee Amy Adams as a woman who pauses her career to be a stay-at-home mom, but soon her new domesticity takes a surreal turn.
