1978: Die Radierer are founded in Limburg by Jürgen Beuth and C B Bodenstein and, alongside DAF, S.Y.P.H. etc., are among the pioneers of German post-punk. The musical head, Beuth, multi-instrumentalist and composer, designs the musical scenario for the shrill lyrics of the Radierer. The sequencer chugs mercilessly, the guitar drives and scratches and poppy, childlike melodies form the icing. Uninhibited experimentation rules! Bodenstein is the singer and lyricist.
