Late Night Takes
Late Night Takes is a continuation of the previous EP under the same title by Zuzanna Całka. It is a reflection of solitude, movement, and the intangible moments that exist between yesterday and tomorrow. Rooted in the expressiveness of the piano yet expanding into the warmth of Rhodes and Wurlitzer the album explores the intersection of classical intuition and electronic soundscape. Each piece unfolds like a monologue—sometimes meditative, sometimes pulsing with urgency.
The beginning of the journey, evoking growth, exploration, and the unfolding nature of reality. The "Nautilus" shell represents expansion, but also containment—what we leave behind still exists within us. "Just Us" is the most intimate piece, reflecting on how relationships and identity are in constant motion. Next song reminds us that you are never truly being, only "Becoming". Everything moves in cycles: our breath, our thoughts, relationships, even the universe itself. With rythmic "Pulsing" one can feel existence is not static but a continuous process of becoming. Finally, "Rewind" closes this journey, reminding us of the cyclical nature of existence, and also encourages the listener to listen to the album againÂ
