Imagine an album where various members of The Stone Roses, The Smiths, Paul Weller, Style Council, Primal Scream, Talvin Singh, Fundamental and Asia came together to help a friend make his debut album! The twist to the tale, this now 25 year old album was never released!

Such is the album by guitar virtuoso Aziz Ibrahim formerly of The Stone Roses, Simply Red & Asia. Fast forward to 2026 and after this piece of British Asian History has sat on display in Manchester Museum’s South Asia Gallery, now finally comes to fruition on vinyl.

Thanks to Indus Records, the original tapes recorded across studios in the UK were lovingly restored and remastered at Lundgaard Studios in Denmark.

The release is a collector’s dream: a double gatefold vinyl featuring striking black and white discs, including three additional tracks from the rare 7” and 12” EP “Middle Road” —an early glimpse of what was to come.
