Wild Billy Childish and The North Kent Folkways Revival formed through the long-term partnership between Billy Childish and The Singing Loins. Billy recorded The Singing Loins first album live in his bathroom over 30 years ago. Following on from the first 7" from Wild Billy Childish and the North Kent Folkways Revival (sometimes titled NKFWR), âMedway Wheelersâ via Squoodge Records, their first two albums were released on Hangman Records in 2024.
Juju Claudius takes lead vocals on these two incredible takes. With the audacious âHouse Of Rising Sunâ set to be recognised as the premier female rendition.
