This year marks the 5 year anniversary of his career-changing EP 'Happiness in Liquid Form' and to celebrate Alfie and Chess Club Records release a vinyl reissue of this seminal EP - pressed exclusively for Record Store Day 2026.Â
With the original 10” vinyl pressed in small quantity and sold out on pre-order, this 12” reissue comes in the form of a picture disc vinyl featuring the original EP on Side A, containing 2 of his most beloved fan favourites 'Things I Thought Were Mine' and 'Happiness in Liquid Form', as well as his collaboration with label mates Coach Party, 'My Best Friend'.Â
Side B boasts 2 never-before-heard tracks from the Happiness in Liquid Form era, 'Only One' and 'Endlessly', both produced by The Vaccines founding member and drummer Pete Robertson whose production credits include Beabadoobee, Hinds, Jane's Addiction, Keo. Side B also features live and acoustic versions of breakout single 'Happiness in Liquid Form' performed for VEVO DSCVR, which combined have amassed almost 200k views on YouTube.Â
