Massive Wagons' fourth album Full Nelson retained the charismatic, full-throttle rockānāroll that the band had become known for, laced together with a sharp eye and quick wit. They observed a darkening world and mined it for creative gold, taking shots at social media, bullies, bigots and conspiracy theorists along the way. Upon release, Full Nelson shot to Number 16 in the UK Album Charts, following which the band got to tour Europe for the first time and also open for the likes of The Dead Daisies, The Wildhearts and Thunder. The stakes were raised even higher when they landed a coveted slot opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd and Status Quo.
Since Full Nelson, Massive Wagons have released three further albums: two Top 10 albums in the form of 2020ās House Of Noise and 2022ās Triggered!, and 2024ās Top 5 album Earth To Grace. A band known as equally for their kindness as their riffs, the band became ambassadors for the charitable organisation Metal For Good earlier this year.
In celebration of this monumental era for the band, Record Store Day feature Full Nelson with new alternative blue artwork and two tracks that weren't originally featured: the chugging āDeath Or Gloryā and the razor-sharp punk rager āScorpionā. Pressed on White vinyl with Blue and Red splatter.
