Available to pre-order now: “Fiesta y Ruido: Die Toten Hosen live in Argentina”! On September 11, 1992, Die Toten Hosen played live in Argentina for the first time in Buenos Aires; it was the beginning of a great love between a band from Düsseldorf and the fans from South America. 2022 marked the 30th anniversary of this performance and this anniversary was of course celebrated appropriately for the occasion with a few concerts in the Argentine capital and another show in Tandil. We had some of the evenings recorded for training purposes. A few months ago, at our Christmas party, Kuddel threw the recordings back into the player at an late hour and we were surprised that they thrilled not only everyone present, but even the police officers who arrived a short time later to disturb the peace. Since this documentation of the wildness, madness and emotionality that has always characterized our concerts in Argentina was so well received, the idea of making even more people happy with the material came to mind: as a memory for everyone who was there, and as a small sample for everyone who couldn't be there. “Fiesta y Ruido: Die Toten Hosen live in Argentina” contains 20 songs not only the highlights from the sets of these concerts, but also “Más allá del bien y del mal”, “Iván fue un comunista”, “Uno, Dos Ultraviolento “ and “Represión” some cover versions of the pioneering Argentinian punk band Los Violadores and Pilsen, with whose singer Pil we had a long friendship. Another highlight is “Ya No Sos Igual”, an Argentinian punk rock classic by Dos Minutos, whose frontman Mosca performed with us in Buenos Aires.” “Fiesta y Ruido: Die Toten Hosen live in Argentina” is released as a double LP in a limited and numbered edition of 10,000 copies, each with a blue and white 180 g disc as well as printed inner sleeves and as a CD (first edition in a digipack) with 28 page booklet.
