Burnout Generation

“Burnout” and “Generation” are being released simultaneously on Grönland Records as a double EP on vinyl. The new EP is a direct continuation of the debut EP and its predominantly dark mood. In terms of content, “Burnout” and “Generation” go hand in hand anyway, as Leila’s lyrics on both projects revolve around the major issues that concern her age group today. It’s about lack of influence and lethargy, about growing up quickly and persistent inner burnout, about pressure to perform, make decisions and perform, about the desperate search for one’s own place in a confusing world. “In this collection, I delve into the struggles faced by youth, the challenges of adulthood, and the journey to find one's place in the world. I've written songs about topics and states of mind that I still can't fully grasp, seeking answers to the many questions I have.” -LEILA
