Blomovinho
Leo Blomov releases his third album, Blomovinho, on Tricatel, following on from his first two albums, Carpe Noctem and L'Ermitage, on Label Attitude. This album, which sings of wide open spaces, nature and freedom, is a tribute to MĂșsica Popular Brasileira.
It's Brazil, and of course it's not Brazil, any more than the great Guy Cabay and Sean O'Hagan are Brazil. As I listen to âSob As Estrelasâ, I also hear the Brian Wilson of âBusy Doinâ Nothin' and the Paddy McAloon of âCruelâ.
