Following Gaspare Pasini's 'Pepper Legacy' release of 2024, the renowned Italian alto saxophonist returns with his quartet and award-winning Canadian vocalist Shawn Monteiro, daughter of renowned bassist Jimmy Woode, in a programme of instrumental and vocal performances. Featuring four original compositions, two by Pasini ('Minor Thursday' and 'Tess') and one apiece by George Cables ('I Told You So') and Jay Livingstone ('Never Let me Go'), all instrumentals, followed by three standards where Shawn Monteiro joins the quartet for incredible renditions of Kurt Weil's 'Speak Low', Benny Carter & Sammy Cahn's 'Only Trust Your Heart', Bobby Troup's 'You're Looking At Me'. The fourth track with vocals is an original co-composed song by Monteiro - 'Where Do You Go'.
