An Das Angstland is a great reissue of the 2020 album by Charlotte Brandi! It is released as a milky-clear Vinyl LP, limited to 300 copies via Listenrecords. Featuring the finest German indie-pop with a unique touch. Including the hit song "Wind" with Dirk Von Lotzow (Tocotronic). During the Corona lockdown in the spring of 2020, BRANDI found the much-needed peace in a paralyzed Berlin to intensively focus on writing German lyrics. Drawing from years of poetry and a certain affinity for German rap, she decided to set some of her poems to music. "An Das Angstland" is a four-piece harmony, consisting of four songs that form the beginning, middle, and end. In the first song, "Wind", there is a sense of detachment; BRANDI describes transforming into a plant as life around her seems to lack the necessary "juice". For this piece, she enlisted the talented DIRK VON LOWTZOW (TOCOTRONIC), who enthusiastically agreed to lend his distinctive voice to BRANDI's captivating lyrics. The remaining three songs are equally quirky and humorous, yet deeply lyrical and profound.
