The Black Crowes’ third studio album, Amorica, was originally released in 1994 and features the singles, “A Conspiracy,” “High Head Blues,” and “Wiser Time.”
3CD - The Black Crowes have collected the Amorica-era recordings (1992-1994) into a new boxset. The reissue has been overseen by band founders and brothers, Chris and Rich Robinson, along with acclaimed producer and friend of the Crowes, George Drakoulias. CD1: A newly remastered Amorica sourced from the original 1/4” production master tapes and featuring 3 Amorica-era bonus tracks. CD2: Tallest fixes the stories behind the lost/scrapped album Tall and the mish-mashed Lost Crowes version of Tall. With guidance from Rich Robinson, George Drakoulias and Martin Pradler did new mixes of the Tall-era recordings from the January 1994 Conway sessions on 2” 24-track multis. CD3: Marie Laveau Sessions, an incredible 7-song recording session from 1992 recorded at Kingsway Studios in New Orleans. Plus, Live at AIR Studios, London, October 25, 1994. All songs are previously unreleased. 3 CD set housed in an LP-sized jacket with 20” x 30” poster, fanzine and bumper sticker included.
