The Austrian band Wanda combines old Viennese morbidity with punk rock," wrote the Frankfurter Allgemeine in January 2015 in its article on the album of the week: Amore. 10 years later, the Viennese rock band's debut album is back as an anniversary edition with a 12'' picture disc of the original album. Included: an exclusive heart-shaped LP in red with two bonus tracks! Amore marks the band's great beginning and although it is the first album, it already contains top hits like "Bologna" and live anthems like "Luzia" and "Auseinandergehen ist schwer". The album made it straight to number 2 in the Austrian album charts and is now triple platinum in Austria. Ten years after its release, the single “Bologna” even reached gold status in Germany. Wanda’s sound is raw and honest. Without wanting to appear smooth and perfect, Marco Wanda sings and screams the charming, funny, sometimes bizarre lyrics to simple guitar rock and matching keyboard interludes. It's about euphoria, longing, death and lots of amore. Without much affectation, songs like “Bleib wo du wart”, “Jelinek” or of course “Bologna” with their own catchy sound have absolute earworm potential.
