Under the headline "All Under One Roof," a complete product series is being released for Udo's birthday: consisting of a CD box set including 40 studio albums plus a 5" CD and a 124-page hardcover book, and a very special Panik compilation as a 4-LP box set and 3-CD set in a digipak – each with 41 tracks. The 4-LP and 3-CD sets are not typical "Best Of" compilations, but rather a gift from the fans to Udo Lindenberg. Fans were able to vote and choose their personal favorite – one song from each of the 40 studio albums. Udo, of course, had one choice, and so "Komet" was selected as his "personal choice." The song selection is a journey through his musical career – spanning over five decades of Udo Lindenberg. Whether with or without the Panikorchester, whether in German, English (4 songs), or Dutch (1 song) – always unmistakably Udo Lindenberg. For some albums, the result was very close – such as "Cello" from the album "Alles klar auf der Andrea Doria" (1973) or "Mein Ding" from the album "Stark wie zwei" (2008) – while for others there were clear frontrunners, such as "Bodo Ballermann" from the album "Galaxo Gang" (1976) or "Horizont" from the album "Stark wie zwei" (2008). But regardless of which songs ultimately came out on top, the fans decided for every album. Some of the selected songs have never been on a compilation before and can be rediscovered here on this special birthday package. "All in one package" – a frantic gift from and for the fans.
