A Wall of Sound
Felmay Records presents Daniele Cavallanti & A World of Sound's new release: 'A Wall of Sound'. The band founded by Daniele Cavallanti in 2013, after the replacement, in 2015, of the second tenor sax Gianluca Elia, who in the meantime moved to Copenaghen, today includes, in addition to the leader on tenor sax, Francesco Chiapperini on alto sax and bass clarinet, Gianluca Alberti on double bass and Toni Boselli on drums. The sound of the album has its roots in the effervescent mood of African-American music of the 60s, revised with the sensitivity of contemporary jazz.
