Drayton’s new LP, A Heavy Duty Heart, is a meditation on love and risk, in Farley’s signature style of emotional honesty. The album, solely written by Farley and produced by Sadler Vaden (Jason Isbell) is an extension of his signature sound and evolution as an evocative songwriter. Drayton has toured with Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, and Ryan Bingham, inspired by John Prine and Bob Dylan, Drayton is one of the great American songwriters of his generation.
