A Boy Called David / Don't Go Out Into The Rain / Blow-Up Live! plus bonus tracks
Liverpudlian Garrick's three albums for Piccadilly and PYE Records, dating from 1967 and 1968. Discovered by the Kinks' manager Robert Wace, Garrick made the UK charts with a version of the Stones' 'Lady Jane' in 1966. He followed it up with 'Dear Mrs Applebee' which was also a UK hit, but in Europe it took off, giving him a German No. 1, which led to him becoming far more popular in Europe than the UK. Garrick's career took many turns in the 70s and beyond (too many to list here), but he sadly died in 2013 at the age of 67.
